The questions that matter most on a whole home project, from cost and sequencing to whether you should remodel before you move in.
No. One in-house crew runs your project from the first walkthrough to the final reveal, no rotating trades, no hand-offs, no project abandonment. On a whole-home scope that's the difference between one accountable team and coordinating half a dozen calendars yourself. We don't leave until it's done.
Sometimes, but it's genuinely hard, and we'll be straight with you about which phases are liveable and which aren't. Many clients stay elsewhere for the heaviest weeks and move in for the finish phase. We'll map that out with you at the walkthrough rather than letting you discover it mid-project.
Design across the whole home, demolition, and the full build, kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, bedrooms, basements, flooring, millwork, and painting, under one written scope with your interior designer included. What we don't do is new construction, additions, or major mechanical and structural work; we transform what already exists.
If you can, yes, it's dramatically easier for everyone. An empty house means no protecting furniture, no living around demo, faster sequencing and often a shorter overall schedule. We work with a lot of buyers between closing and move-in for exactly this reason. If you're under contract, talk to us before you get the keys.
Several weeks to a few months depending on scope, and we set the schedule at the walkthrough before anything starts. The advantage of one crew and one scope is that phases don't stall waiting on a subcontractor's calendar, the single biggest source of delay on multi-room projects.
Whole-home projects generally start in the $50,000+ band and scale with square footage, how many rooms are in scope, and finish level. Because everything is quoted as a single scope rather than room by room, you see the whole number upfront instead of discovering it in stages. Nothing down to begin, with 0% financing available.
Every home is different, so some answers only come from seeing yours. Book a walkthrough.
